The Annual Fall Luncheon of the Queen Anne County Council Homemakers was called to order at 10:16 a.m. by President Dottie Grier. We recited the Pledge of Allegiance and sang, “God Bless America.” We recited the Homemakers creed. Madelin Hollis offered our opening prayer. Arlene Warner welcomed an behalf of the host club, Templeville, Past Council Presidents and Current club Presidents were recognized.

The Minutes were read and Corrected as follows: Our Scholarship winner is not the same as last years.
Treasurer Annabelle Taylor reported balances of (amount on file) in the checking account and (amount on file) in the C.D. The report was approved and filed for audit.
Historian Ethel Boyle reported that all is up-to-date.
Scholarship Chair Annabelle Taylor introduced our Scholarship winner, Christin Houtz, who told us of her schooling and thanked us for helping her.
Webpage Chair Elaine Dow reported that the webpage is up and running.
New Business:
Dues situation: A motion to pay for 2 years(2017 & 2018) this time to get us on track was made by Pat Quartaris and seconded by Ann Vogt. Motion passed.
A motion to have 3 members on all committees was made by Betty Davis and seconded by Rosemary Swan. Motion passed.
Our speaker was Nicole Leonard. She is Stroke Coordinator at U of M Hospital in Easton. She gave us handouts which summarized her informative presentation. She answered questions from all of us.
Grace was offered by Ginger Jones of the Templeville Club.
After a superb lunch, the Chinese Auction earned $135.60
Door prizes were distributed.
Ethel Boyle moved and Darrel Wilson seconded a motion to adjourn. Motion passed. The Luncheon was adjourned at 1:40 p.m.
