The Fall Luncheon of the Queen Anne County Council of Homemakers was called to order by President Dottie Grier at 10:15 am. We recited the Pledge of Allegiance and sang “God Bless America.” We recited the Homemakers Creed. Carol Wilson, President of Sudlersville Homemakers Club welcomed all on behalf of our host club. Past Council Presidents were recognized.

A Moment of Silence was held for deceased members.
The Minutes were read. Mary Ellen Leaverton moved and Jackie Finey seconded a motion to approve the minutes. Motion passed.
Treasure Annabelle Taylor reported balances of ($ amounts on file) in the checking account and ($ amounts on file) in the C.D. Ann Vogt moved and Patty Quarterio seconded a motion to accept the report. Motion passed. The report was filed for audit. Our Scholarship recipient is Bridget King.
Melyn Rhodes, Miss Maryland Agriculture, was unable to attend due to a college test which she could not change.
Old Business
Home Arts Chair, Mary Ellen Leaverton, and President Dottie Grier, reported on the Fair exhibits in the Homemakers building. The Children’s Pillow Making will be held Monday through Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Fiber fill is needed along with material. Jim Berch gave us $7.00 for pillow making. Annie Seward won the “Stitch-in-Time” Award. We need more entries in all areas. The members of Lucretia Kennard Club won many awards in the Flowers area. We need more people to work on Saturday.
President Dottie Grier introduced Mickey Youke of Southern Trust Mortgages.
New Business
The Spring Luncheon will be held on April 14, 2020. Templeville will be the host club. Clubs need to bring baby quilts and afghans.
By laws are being refined by a committee which will report in January.
The Chinese Auction earned $155.00.
Sheila Viney moved and Jackie Finey seconded a motion to have each person take 2 chances to sell for the Rose Afghan. The price is $1.00 per chance. Motion passed.
Mary Ellen Leaverton offered grace. Luncheon was served.
Ann Vogt moved and Carol Wilson seconded to adjourn. Motion passed. The luncheon was adjourned at 1:22 pm.
