The Queen Anne’s County Council of Homemakers Executive Board met on January 9, 2024. The meeting was called to order by President Arlene Warner at 10:00 a.m.

Fair Reports – Elaine Dow
The Afghans earned $205.
$50 will be used for the “Stitch-in-Time” award.
$100 for the Fair Book ad.
$50 for Bread and Cookies Reward
Next year’s Fair will be August 12 – 17.
Spring Luncheon – Elaine Dow
It will be held at St. Paul’s Church on Liberty St. in Centreville on April 9, 2024, at 9:30. Each Club is to bring 2 baby blanket quilts or the like.
HomeArts – Mary Ellen Leaverton
Home Arts Department did a good job for all the things it does: judging goods, sewing pillow making, for the kids.
We approved a Remembrance Brick for Marial.
Meeting was adjourned at 11:25 to a luncheon.
