The Spring Luncheon for 2024 was called to order by President Arlene Warner.
We recited the Pledge of Allegiance, sang “God Bless America,” and recited the Homemakers Creed.
We were welcomed by Elaine Dow, President of the host club.

Minutes were read and members were reminded that dollars amounts were to be put into the pewter cups.
Phyllis Boone, Health Chair, told us about vitamins and reminded us to check about them with our doctor or pharmacist about their use or how they work.
Mary Ellen Leaverton, Home Arts Chair, told us about a quilt to be hung at the Fair. It was made by the grandmother of Pat Scott and has been kept by the family.
The Pillow Making by Children at the Fair. The kids loved them. There were 74 kids involved. For next year, we need stuffing and some material that measures 13″ X 13″.
President Arlene Warner told us of a program titled, “Where East Meets West,” a story of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and its effects on both sides.
Grace was offered by Rev. Peggy Samuels.
Luncheon was served.
Door Prizes were given out.
Templeville will host the Fall Luncheon on November 12th.
Rev. Samuels offered our closing Prayer.
The Luncheon was adjourned.
